Ok, so I've blogged about the past year, the problems, blah blah blah.  How about a change of pace?  How about a....

List Of Songs That Always Get Stuck In My Head!

Single Ladies, Beyonce.  Surprise, surprise!  But I don't mind when it gets stuck because I heart her (stop puking, April).   "Uh oh oh, oh oh oh oh oh oh..."

Safety Dance, By that weird dude who dressed like Robin Hood and had a midget that followed him around.  Yes, that was their official band name.  I haven't heard it in forever - thank GAWD - but for some reason it still pops in my head from time to time.  "We can dance if we want to.."

Forever and Always, Taylor Swift.  I heart Swifty.  And I heart this song.  I even have Scott singing it to himself!!  "And it rains in your bedroom, everything is wrong.  It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone..."

Mambo No. 5, By that one hit wonder dude who wore the funny hats.  Again, haven't heard it in forever, but it still creeps its way into the crazy corners of my mind and usually sticks around for six hours or so at a time.  Not that I'm complaining.  I liked this song when it was out, and I still like it.  It needs to find its way to the iPod.  "A little bit of you makes me yo man...."

Unwritten, Natasha Bedingfield.  Ok, I'm totally embarrased to say this out loud.  But I always have this song running through my mind when I'm riding my fourwheeler fast.  It's so LAME, I know!  But it just does.  And I can't make it stop.  "Feel the rain on your skin, no one else can feel it for you, only you can let it in..."  Leigh just did a spittake with her latte.

Tubthumping, Chumbawombadumbadoodahday.  This one irritates me when it starts.  Almost as much as it irritates me when a group comes up with some lame-o name for themselves.  Like Chumbawomba.  I mean really, WTF?  Anyway, when this diddy starts, it just won't stop.  Unfortunately.   "I get knocked down, but I get up again..."

Lose Yourself, Eminem.  Not usually a fan of rap, but I really REALLY like this song.  So I'm not ticked off when it starts repeating over and over in my head.  See, I'm diverse.   And now I'm happily rapping in my head, "You better lose yourself in the music, the moment, you own it,  you better never let it go.  You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow, this opportunity comes once in a lifetime, you better..."

Editors Note:  I didn't Google any of the lyrics or the artist names correct spellings.  So don't holler at me or make fun of me for mis-quoting a song.  You know you all sing along incorrectly every single day of your life.

Well, if a certain person hadn't stolen my headphones from my desk, I'd be listening to some of these right now!

P.S. My word verification is basilismo. Doesn't that sound like some sort of cool, off the wall cocktail? Bartender, I'd like a Basilismo, extra basil please.

P.P.S. Apparently I spelled basilismo wrong, because I got a new word - equallate. Which should be what I call my lattes - an Equal Latte, because I put Equal in them. Whatever.

I used to get up every morning and put Tub Thumping on the CD player and listen to it to get my day started. I love that song.
