Happy New Years Eve.  May the upcoming year be one filled with love, laughter, hope, prosperity and dreams realized.  May we all stop a moment and remember what made the past year one to miss, to smile at the memories and laugh at the images in our heads.  This was, in many ways, my best year and my worst year.  There are memories I will cherish and pray that they never fade, and there are memories that I can't make go away, no matter how hard I try.

I saw a glacier calve in Alaska with my mother and my grandmother standing by my side.
I saw my dad's surprised face on his 65th birthday.
I saw my husband stand up for what is right.
I saw the laughter on my best friends face as we shared key lime pie off paper plates in a dirty kitchen.
I saw my daughter take her first hike.
I saw my son lose his first tooth.
I saw snow on Christmas Eve.
I saw my nephew turn 2.
I saw a meteor shower.

Can't wait to see what this new year will bring.

Love your new wallpaper. I think 2010 will be an amazing year. Full of new life, new beginnings, and new decade for one person in particular! Always remember that your greatest gift is choice. You choose how things affect you and how you react. Rise above all negativity. If it doesn't matter in 50 years, it doesn't matter now.
