I just got my BabyCenter.com weekly email. The subject of today's post? "Our new growth predictor!"... "See how tall your child will be!"
I had to input their exact age, their height, their weight, mom's height and dad's height.
The disclaimer said, "There is at least a 50% chance that your child will be within 0.7" above or below of the proposed height and a 90% chance that your child will be within 1.5" above or below the proposed height.
Drumroll.....
At the age of 18, Abbey is predicted to be 6' 4" tall.
At the age of 18, Cole is predicted to be 6' 6" tall.
Um....swell. A 90% chance Abbey will be a dainty 6' 2 1/2"??? What the heck, Scott? Do you have Miracle Gro running through your veins, or something? I sort of knew my kids were a bit...shall we say... mature for their age. But good grief, Charlie Brown. Really??? REALLY?????

Awesome! Tall is fabulous, go Abbey!
"And, now starting at Center for the Houston Comets......Abby Redish. Abby was a typical child, but at age 13, she shot up like a beanstalk. Her Mom and Dad attribute it to the good clean country living and lots of mac and cheese and pizza."
OH MY GOD! I think I fell off my seat at work. I don't mind Cole being 6'6, but Abbey 6'4?? NOOOOO. And no, she's not playing basketball with all those lesbians. Well, whatever height she is, teach her to always stand up straight and be proud. There's nothing worse than a tall woman all slumped over like she has osteoporosis. My old boss is 6' tall and gorgeous - Harvard Law grad.
