But do you know what scares me the most? More than "government run health care". More than "socialism". More than Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers. More than our new Presidents' obvious plan to totally cripple corporate America? The fact that the media has gotten so powerful, they proved they have the ability to get their man elected President. Isn't that horrifying? And I'm being as serious as I can possibly be when I say that.
I strongly feel that this election was so racially motivated, it just makes me want to vomit. The only reason why most of the black voters dragged themselves to the polls was for the simple reason that Obama is a black man as well. I'm not talking about the educated, NORMAL black person. I'm talking about the clock around the neck wearing, pants sagging, Ebonics speaking fool that couldn't even quote an issue if his life depended on it. Hell, he can't even SPELL issue. Does that make me racist? Possibly. Are those type racist against me? You betcha!
John McCain's concession speech was amazing. He showed us all that he has class, he has knowledge, he has strength, he has power. And this is the man that America turned down. But it wasn't the "landslide" that has been reporting. A few percentage points. That's it. We were so close.

I've been in a funk since last weekend just dreading the outcome of yesterday's election. I just pray that somehow, some way, he won't get all of his crazy ass initiatives passed. Because my company will not be able to afford to pay such high taxes PLUS pay me. So I'm asking for a tent and C-rations for Christmas. I'm also checking out real estate and jobs in Canada - just in case. But wait a minute. Since we'll be sharing the wealth, I think I'll ask my boss where I sign up to get a piece of his annual bonus. Hmmm. Things are looking up!
Iam highly offended at your post...
I am a proud Ebonics speaking, clock wearing, pants sagging white fool and I wouldn't have it any other way!!
So is it still the "White" House??
It is terrifying how powerful the media is and you're absolutely right that they played a role in our election. Who knows to what extend, but I think it's fair to say that it did to some degree. Don't even get me started....
I'm just going hold my breath until all the free stuff comes....I bet it won't be long.
The saddest thing about this post is that you are raising the next generation. That your racist attitude and views are going to be passed down to your children. I'm a white woman, married to a wonderful black man. We have three very smart children who we raise to treat everybody as equals and not judge people by thier race, or social class. It's a shame your parents did not teach you the same. There is just as much "trailer trash" as there are "thugs", but who is to say that these people deserve any less respect than your own neighbor. They are still people. I am sad to think that there are still people like you in the world.. get over yourself..
Dear Anonymous,
Obviously you are so solid in your beliefs that you choose to leave them namelessly.
I implore you to read my blog again, and to actually take in what I said. There is nothing racist said. I said that the media got their "darling" elected, which is correct. I said that Reverend Wright scares me, as would any person who ranted "God Damn America", which is correct. I said that Bill Ayres scares me (hmm, isn't he white?), which is correct. I said that I believe that the election was racially motivated for the reason that Obama was voted for by millions of people for the simple fact that he's black. You cannot honestly say that this election wasn't racially motivated. Did you listen to Obama's acceptance speech? It was all about race. Did you hear what his cheerleader, Hillary, had to say about that speech the next morning? She wished he wouldn't have made it so racially motivated. So, I guess I'm not that far off - am I??
I've seen the interviews with my own two eyes on CNN where the person being interviewed said that the only reason they voted in the election PERIOD was because a black man was running. That this was their first time voting. That the reason they voted for him was to see a black man in the White house. I'm simply quoting what was said by those people. So - how does that make ME a racist? I believe that makes the voter a racist. But that's ok with you, right? Because the person saying that is black and I'm white? And what did I say in my blog? I said that I'm not talking about the normal, educated black person. Hello?? Did you even pay attention? And where did I call someone a thug? You called them a thug. What irritates me the most with people such as yourself is the double standards. Take for example, if you watch Chris Rock's latest comedic special, he even says that the "clock-wearing" fools embarrass him as a black man. So - it's ok for someone like him to say it, but it's not ok for someone like me? That's a bit of a double standard, my dear.
I do not agree with this new President for his policies. I do not want to "share the wealth". I do not want Government run health care. I am a small business owner and his pathetically low amount that he considers to make a business a small business (less than $150,000 per year in sales) has just bumped me into an entire new tax bracket that I know without a doubt that I won't be able to pay. He doesn't consider me the middle class, even though I very much am. My middle class parents work for corporate America. So where does this leave them when their companies are forced to lay off to pay his higher taxes? I don't agree with 99.9% of his policies and his issues. I don't agree with people voting for someone based on the color of their skin, I don't think it's fair. And yes, it happened whether you want to admit it did or not. Yet that makes me a racist in your eyes??? I whole heartedly believe that if people had actually LISTENED to his policies, thought about them...this man would never have been elected. His beliefs border on socialism and that is terrifying.
My blog is written for my friends and my family. It is not public. You obviously followed it from a friend of mine.
And now I will really tell you what I think of you. Shame on you for insinuating that I'm raising my children wrong. You judge me on how I raise my children and you do this anonymously? You are nothing but a coward who hides behind her computer, and that is just pathetic. My children are good, kind, loving children and I dare you to say what you said about my children in your anonymous post to my face. I honestly dare you.
Do me a favor, stay off my blog. As it's written for friends and family, you have no place here. The next time you want to call someone to the carpet, make sure you read what they said before you go off the deep end and start ranting and raving. And make sure you've got the guts to say who you are if you're going to push your views on me. You know who I am, so extend the courtesy.
Stacey, can I just throw in my two cents, though no one asked for it?
I find it appalling that someone would question another's parenting AND the hearts of your children - Ms. Anonymous questioned the parenting of you AND your Mom and Dad without knowing a single thing about you! Knowing you and your Mom and your Dad, I am so insulted!
I am so incredibly sick and tired of the hypocrisy in this country. What about the old Bible saying - take the log out of your own eye before you point out the speck in another. Even if you were guilty of racism, we are ALL FLAWED HUMAN BEINGS! We all sin. We all say things we shouldn't. We all fail our children in some ways. We all fall flat on our faces. Is racism acceptable? Heck no! But are we all guilty of bigotry at times in our lives? Of course! The best you can do is try your darndest to be a good human being. And Stacey? You are a good human being.
Ms Anonymous? God bless you and your family and your quest for equality and instilling good values in your children. I don't doubt that you have a beautiful family and have raised kind, open minded children. But before you spit daggers at a stranger (who happens to be my best friend), remember that you too are only human.
This is yo mama responding. Your response was written perfectly and there's nothing I can add since I raised 3 gorgeous daughters who are smart and have kind hearts. I couldn't ask for more. And none of us would have cared if he was purple with blue stripes. His views are far too left to be OK with us. Just so ya know.
