Happy Thanksgiving!

Mmmmm, that looks good, doesn't it?  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is Thursday?  Like, of this week?  Weren't we just celebrating the 4th of July two weekends ago?? 

But what is Thanksgiving?  It's a time to remember what we're all truly thankful for.  And you know what that means???  List time!!!

1.  Scott and our little crew of two.  These three people are my life, my heart, my everything.  Like the formerly awesome actor known as Tom Cruise once said, "You complete me". 

2.  Our business.  It allows us the freedom to be with each other and our kids on our terms.  We are very lucky.

3.  Our home.  Who doesn't love a good roof over your head?

4.  My friends.  From my girls Leigh-Leigh and Susie Q, to my Blog friend Marie who I cannot wait to meet in person, to the men who work with us, I have a very diverse and very wonderful group of friends.  They are all unique and all bring me happiness and laughter.  They make me feel loved and cared about and I love them all more than they will ever know. 

5.  My family.  Seriously, most pale in comparison.  And I said most, so nobody freak out and tell me that I insulted them.  I'm lucky enough to WANT to talk to and be with my parents and sisters all the time.  We laugh, we hug, we love.  Leaving them is always like leaving behind a piece of myself.  And that stinks.  Big time. 

6.  TiGi Rockstar Hairspray.  It's like sprayable love in a can.  Get you some and you can thank me.

7.  Uggs.  They're ugly.  They're bulky.  But they hug my feet like pillows of fuzzy softness.  I wear them all day, every day. 

8.  Tivo.  Without you, dear Tivo, we would miss out on so much.  You bring us happiness and laughter on our terms, on our time.  I can't thank you enough.

9.  Under eye concealer.  Because I need you like water, like breath, like rain.  I need you more now than I ever have before.

10.  God.  Because of Him, I know that all of this craziness and uncertainty will pass and things will be OK.
