Fight Night!

Good weekend had by all!! With the exception of me at around 11:30 on Saturday night when I was forced to watch my Hunka Hunka Burnin Chucka, aka Chuck Liddell, get knocked out. I was so excited for that fight! We had Leigh, Sid, Carrie, Josh, Joe, Megan, Gayle, David, Shawn and Felicia over to bbq and watch the fight out at the pool. We all had a great time. And I really enjoyed seeing Joe and Megan again after so long. I think that the last time I saw her was last November, and as usual she doesn't look a bit different. It's like she's stuck in a time warp. No aging, no gaining of weight, nothing. Just the exact same. Anyway, I think everyone really had a good time. Except for when it came to the main event fight. And Chuck got knocked out. And I wanted to cry. Oh Chuckeypoo, I'll comfort you....

Cole has football practice again tonight. He's really looking forward to it. I don't think that I'll be able to go this time. We took Abbey with us to the last practice, and that didn't work out too well. She kept trying to sit in other people's lawn chairs, walk onto the field, steal flip flops off people's feet (Ew!). It was a mess. So I guess I'll be sitting this one out.

Oooooo! I watched that new HBO series premier called True Blood last night. DE-lish! I loved it. I hope that it gets good reviews and good ratings and sticks around. I was so bummed when the idiot HBO powers-that-be canceled Rome. What in the world was I supposed to watch after the Soprano's ended??? Enter Rome. Then it's canceled because it cost too much money to make. So now it's True Blood. And right in time for my vampire obsession. I couldn't be happier.
